This is a multi-book series, and while you can read them as stand-alones, you really should read them in order to get the background information needed.

This story follows Meg, Julie’s younger daughter. When Meg shows up unexpectantly from her study abroad program in France, Julie is wracked with nerves that something is seriously wrong. Meg assures her everything is ok, but call it Mother’s Intuition, something is going on. Colleen lives not far away on the mainland, and uses this time to bond with her sister, and finds out that Meg’s pregnant. Janine knew Meg was pregnant even before Meg told her - but promises to keep it a secret until she’s ready to spill to beans. Right before Meg is about to tell her mom, Christopher shows up. Now Meg has no choice but to tell her mother she’s pregnant, and it’s Christopher’s baby. And while she met Christopher at her study abroad program, it’s not in the way you would think - love that Rachel Hanna threw this little twist into the story!

Meanwhile, Julie goes to Dawson’s high school reunion, and since it’s a small school she meets pretty much everyone Dawson went to school with, including the girl he had a crush on in high school (actually, all the guys had a crush on her it seems). But when Dawson is seen in public with her, and not calling Julie, what’s really going on here?

Will Meg keep the baby? Can she and Christopher work things out? Does Michael really need to keep being in these stories? (I know, he’s a main player, but I’m still angry with him for what he did to Julie in Book 1). The rest of the gang is all here too - Dixie, William, and Dawson.
