WAY too long and story lags a lot in parts
Book 1 was the best of the 3 (The Bronze Horseman)
Book 2 could have been cut in half and still held the story (Tatiana & Alexander)

Unless you like reading 700+ pages and reading about things that have nothing to do with the story progression, I recommend staying away from this series
